Williams to Grand Canyon, Arizona – Train Ride

We took a SMOKE-A-LOTIVE train out of Williams, Arizona, which serves as the southern terminus of the Grand Canyon Railway. The city has a population of around 3,100 people and is known for its Route 66 history, as well as its proximity to Kaibab National Forest and the Grand Canyon. It offers a quaint downtown area with a selection of restaurants, shops, and historic buildings.

The Grand Canyon is a natural wonder located in Arizona, United States. The canyon, which is around 277 miles long and 18 miles wide, was carved by the Colorado River over millions of years. It is renowned for its stunning layered bands of red rock and is a popular destination for hiking, camping, and sightseeing. The Grand Canyon is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and attracts around six million visitors each year.
